1. How frequently should I service my air conditioner? For regular use (around 8 hours daily), servicing every 3-4 months is recommended. If the unit runs continuously (24 hours) or is exposed to harsher conditions, such as nearby construction, more frequent servicing may be necessary.
2. What are your operating hours? We operate from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
3. How can I tell if my aircon needs servicing? Watch for signs like weaker cooling, unusual noises, strange odors, water leaks, frequent on-off cycles, or reduced air quality. Regular maintenance is advised to keep your unit running efficiently and prevent breakdowns.
4. Why is my aircon not cold? Your aircon may not be cooling properly due to clogged filters, low refrigerant levels, dirty coils, or a faulty compressor. A professional inspection can identify and resolve the issue.
5. How much does it cost to service an aircon in Singapore? The cost varies depending on the type of servicing. General servicing typically ranges from $20 to $50 per unit, while chemical cleaning and overhauls can cost between $80 to $250 per unit.
