Service Description

Inspection & Preparation The technician will conduct a thorough inspection of the air conditioning unit to assess the extent of cleaning required. To prevent any potential mess, surrounding furniture and flooring will be covered for protection. Complete Dismantling of the Aircon Unit Unlike standard servicing, a chemical overhaul involves completely dismantling the air conditioning unit from the wall. Each component, including the evaporator coil, fan blower, and drainage tray, will be carefully separated for deep cleaning. Chemical Application A specialized cleaning solution will be applied to key components such as the evaporator and condenser coils, fan blades, and other internal parts. This process effectively removes accumulated dirt, dust, and contaminants, restoring optimal performance. Component Washing All dismantled parts will be thoroughly cleaned under running water or using a jet spray to remove chemical residue and trapped debris. Lubrication of Fan Bearings After the chemical overhaul, the technician may lubricate the fan bearings to ensure smooth operation and reduce noise caused by friction. Vacuuming of Drainage Pipe To clear any clogs and improve drainage efficiency, the technician will vacuum the drainage pipe from either the FCU (Fan Coil Unit) outlet or the main drainage exit, typically leading to the bathroom. Reassembly & Performance Testing Once the cleaning is complete, the air conditioning unit will be carefully reassembled, and the cleaned air filter will be reinstalled. The system will then undergo a performance test to ensure it is functioning efficiently. Compressor Performance Check The overall performance of the condenser unit will be evaluated. If additional servicing, such as condenser cleaning, is required, the technician will provide recommendations. Additional services are chargeable. Refrigerant Gas Level Monitoring Refrigerant gas is essential for cooling efficiency. The technician will check the gas level and inform you if a top-up is needed to restore optimal cooling performance.
